Ray radiation

1. There is a measurement in the study of radiation called half-thickness. This measurement is akin to half-life. In your data for strontium-85 (a gamma ray emitter) you should be able to estimate the half-thickness of lead for this nuclide. With that estimation, determine the thickness of lead that would block nearly 100% of the gamma ray radiation from strontium-85. Explain your answer.
