Reaction Paper
Instructions
After watching (Boyz in the Hood, American History X, and Scheindler’s List) write a reaction paper describing your personal reaction to the movie.
Discuss how you reacted emotionally, morally/ethically, and intellectually; then describe any physical reaction you may have had, as well.
What did you learn from the movie?
What stereotypes did you share with characters in the movie?
Were your stereotypes incorrect? Discuss them.
Finally list the ways that this movie illustrates basic concepts we cover in class. You should be able to write two pages on this assignment.
