Edgar Allan Poe’s

This session we are considering both plot and Edgar Allan Poe’s “Cask of Amontillado.” The plot of this story is relatively simple: a man wants revenge so he walls up another man in his wine cellar. Poe is well known as a writer of horror short stories. After reading this story what elements of the story do you find most disturbing?Do you think the setting of this story (carnival) is at all important?
